This project's focus was on fungi and its links to sustainability. Mycelium, the web-like roots of fungi, goes completely unnoticed and yet keeps our ecosystems afloat. It enables a symbiotic relationship between fungi, plants and tree by sharing vital nutrients and information. Without mycelium, many natural environments would fall apart, making it essential for maintaining a healthy planet.

This piece was exhibited at Grow Wild Exhibition, an exhibition celebrating wildflowers, fungi, and sustainable creative practices. LAU Conscious Creatives hosted the exhibition in partnership with Grow Wild UK, the national outreach programme of Kew Gardens.
