I’m an illustrator from Yorkshire, now living in London and working from my home studio. I make vibrant and uplifting illustrations for people who want to nurture their wellbeing and find their inner power in an uncertain world. My ambition is for my art to be the comforting support, colourful inspiration and words of encouragement someone needs to receive at the moment they need it.

 

Creating my artwork often begins with spending time in nature and reflecting. When a seed of inspiration comes along, I capture it by writing or drawing in my sketchbook, weaving encouraging words with nature imagery and symbolism. Then, I develop my chosen design into a final draft and draw out each element of the illustration, adding texture and detail. Finally, I digitally arrange each element to compose the illustration and add some joy with a bright colour palette.

 

When I'm not making art, I’m happiest when walking in nature, enjoying a sweet treat, or working on a crochet project. As a sensitive and introspective person, I strive to live mindfully and take life at my own pace.
