This illustration is about escaping into a vibrant new world when you read a book. My favourite scenes from the 1950's Disney Film version of Alice in Wonderland inspired this illustration. In one of the scenes Alice meets a huge caterpillar sitting on a mushroom and in another, she is surrounded by singing flowers.
